Construction Project Administrator

Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 annually

Position Overview

The Construction Project Administrator provides essential administrative and document control support for construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure accurate, timely, and well-organized project documentation while supporting daily project operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across all phases of construction projects, from preconstruction to closeout
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, and closeout materials
  • Support subcontractor correspondence, agreements, and documentation tracking
  • Assist with billing support and documentation related to project financials
  • Coordinate and track submittals, RFIs, and approvals within project management systems
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to support high-volume, fast-paced projects
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and organization of all project records

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in construction administration or project support
  • Experience supporting subcontract agreements and managing project documentation
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in numbers and documentation
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and support busy project teams
